I was recently contacted by Stearns County Parks about helping at their
Take a Day OFF on the Mississippi event on August 13th.

"OFF" stands for "Outdoor Family Fun". I believe this is the 3rd year for this outdoor celebration. I haven't been able to attend in the past but I understand it to be a very successful event. Food and drinks available, along with some great presentations. You can even paddle a canoe on the Mighty Mississippi.

I will be staffing the geocaching activity from 10am - 5pm. Not sure we have any other cachers at this time.

You're all welcome to attend or assisit if you are intersted. Stearns County has been very welcoming to geocaching. I am glad they asked for our help and happy to do something for them/us.

Thanks to James and Ben for all their work in set-up and staffing the geocaching tent at this event. That was a lot of work. Good job!
