I looked it up on the FAQ:

2nd to the last question in this case.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to agree to disagree. Smile

Not to steer this thread, but the way Earthcaches have all these new requirements is really turning me off from making one, in fact two ideas I had are not allowed anymore.. So before you decide to make an earthcache check to make sure they are allowed now.

Besides permission, no picture requirements and no glacial erratics, what would stop you from publishing an earthcache? In spite of the published rules, Geoaware is very easy to work with.

No waterfalls, no springs and there's one more that's not allowed anymore that I can't think of off the top of my head. I suppose I could do a cliff/exposed rock one, but most of the interesting spots I know of don't have signs explaining things.

So Geoaware should already have this contact info

I would be pretty surprised if a reviewer that reviews Earthcaches across the entire US (plus some?) would have the contact info from a cache that he reviewed quite some time ago..

I am pretty sure SJ would post a reviewer note on the cache page showing permission was granted for a cache and from who and then delete the reviewer notes before publishing. I assume these logs are permanent records even though they are deleted??

Surfer Joe no longer publishes. At a recent WNC Moe the Sleaze informed us the Surfer Joe has passed on Wink . R.I.P Surfer Joe.

I don't understand this part of the Earthcahe requirements either.

Can I develop an EarthCache as part of a museum or other exhibit?

EarthCaches are a great tool for outdoor museums and other groups to provide an outdoor learning experience for their visitors. EarthCaches cannot be however inside Museums or visitor centres and need to be accessiable after hours. EarthCaches developed that require people to pay an entry fee will be discouraged.

Why would it need to be accessible after hours? Many parks have hours.
