Is there any hope for the laker game scores? _________________ So many caches...So little time |

What are you referring to. The fact that your getting your 4th point of contact handed to you so badly or is there some technical glitch? _________________ Airborne All the Way! |

Maybe they'll have to do like with the new rules in the Winston, excuse me, Nextel Cup with Nascar--when we get close to the end (maybe 1 September or something)-- just have a shoot-out among the top 10, with their points set back to zero for the shoot-out, and use that to determine the champion for this round. I'd propose a rule change to RJ or Towlebooth, but they seem to have gone off the grid lately. _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |

Hope is here! I can see why you've been interested in getting this issue fixed. Here are the proposed score changes based on analysis done by Jillibean (a data-guru) last night:
Cacher Piece Name Date
farmerted Okabena 9/22/2004 23:50
Ko-tis-vey Cass 7/8/2004 21:55
Ko-tis-vey Geneva 7/10/2004 20:46
Ko-tis-vey Green 7/2/2004 20:59
Ko-tis-vey Island 7/1/2004 23:27
Ko-tis-vey Lower Red 7/8/2004 22:00
Ko-tis-vey Minnewashta 7/1/2004 23:29
Ko-tis-vey Otter Tail 7/26/2004 21:13
Ko-tis-vey Rainy 7/8/2004 22:31
Ko-tis-vey Superior 7/3/2004 16:29
brjzn Benidji 7/8/2004 22:16
brjzn Cass 7/25/2004 21:32
brjzn Geneva 7/8/2004 22:14
brjzn Green 7/26/2004 21:37
brjzn Lower Red 6/4/2004 15:02
brjzn Norway 7/26/2004 21:39
brjzn Otter Tail 7/31/2004 21:57
brjzn Pepin 7/8/2004 22:17
brjzn Phalen 7/8/2004 22:20
brjzn Rainy 7/8/2004 22:19
Team Hooligan Heron 8/29/2004 12:43
Dragonslay L of the Woods 8/20/2004 17:01
These are all from round 2. I wrote in a bug when we switched from round 1 to 2. We have a rule that you can't score points multiple times for the same Laker. I forgot to add the "per round" bit so those above did not recieve points for Lakers that they scored in round 1.
Unless someone finds a mistake, I will add 3 points to each of the above records tonight. These cachers did earn these points, they just haven't gotten credit for it yet.
I will make the change to the code tonight so that Round 3 won't have this issue.
Sorry again for the mess up and for not addressing it until now. I'm back and will be a bit faster in responding to issues in Round 3. Heck, I even hope to get out caching again! |

I've made the above data changes and the leaderboard and individual scores have changed accordingly.
The code is also changed so tonight's round change should not cause THIS problem. |
