Last summer I did RAGBRAI and biked to caches from one side of Iowa to the other. There were some cool places hidden in the country side. Sometimes, the corn and soybeans even switched sides of the road!

Biking and crashing....I mean caching is great. I should be icing my leg from today's outing. Very Happy

Yesterday I failed to unclip from my pedals in time and smashed my knee. Fortunately the skin on my knees is a foot thick from a lifetime of crashing on bicycles, motorcycles, mopeds, racing karts and the occasional walk.

Man, those are some big tires you've got there, joboo!

I installed the lower-profile type of RAM mount a couple of weeks ago and it works really well.

We didn't bring our bikes up to the MnGCA event, but hiked to a couple of caches on the Munger. I'm definitely coming back with a bike (and a camelbak) for that trail.

4" of pure happiness!!!! Wink
It's made by Surly bikes out of the cities; for snow and sand riding.
Hence the clown like tires. Laughing
They only hold 30 PSI max, and I run them at 12 front, 16 rear. It's not as hard to pedal as one would think by looking at it.
I originally bought it to strictly ride during the winter, but the thing is so much fun my other bikes are hanging the garage!! Lol

A buddy just mounted his RAM yesterday, and really likes it!!

Duluth, great caches and awesome bike trails; something for everyonez tastes!!
I can't think of a better combo, biking and cache. Well maybe a ice cold beer after long ride!! Lol

Peace

The 45 was just what was released today. It is a 39 mile trip from Faribault to Mankato, and is about 165 traditional caches plus a few multis and letterboxes. in just the first 30 miles.

As a joke, you should mount a unicycle on the bicycle. Laughing
