I recall some discussion at the Duluth event regarding city, county and park guideline for placing caches. I thought someone said that Maple Grove or Brooklyn Center (or Park) reversed their previous guidelines?
Does anyone know if the information from the cache guidelines page http://mngca.org/guidelines is accurate? |

Maple Grove has reversed their rules. That doesn't mean there aren't rules, but before it was near impossible to place caches in a Maple Grove park with all the rules. I think MN.Fruitcake keeps those up to date as best as he can. When I've worked with park boards, I have updated them. If you are aware of a change, please let the webmaster know webmaster @t mngca dot org and they can correct them. _________________ Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. |

The guidelines on the MnGCA are as up to date as I know.
Maple Grove's policy, as Speedy mentioned, changed from what it used to be (but is current). It's now about as open as you can get.
Brooklyn Park's policy is current AFAIK. The PDF linked to from our site to the Brooklyn Park site is still there and still displays the same information, and I have seen a couple of caches that have been approved by them. _________________ Hmm... |
