Looking for referral for a company to install about 50 to 75 feet of chain link fencing to keep our dogs from jumping in the creek at our new house.
Can anyone recommend an affordable company in the metro area you've had a good experience with? _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |

I used Northstar Fence many years ago they had the best price and product at the time, not sure if they are still in bussiness or prices anymore. _________________ Remember One does not need the MNGCA to geocache, but the MNGCA does need members to survive. |

I've used both Dakota and Midwest Fence and was impressed with both of the companies.
Key is to ask the company how they dig their post holes. If they just drill or post hole dig move on. If they tell you that the bell the hole the install good posts. _________________ Airborne All the Way! |

I had to Google it as I'd never heard the term 'bell the hole' before. I originally thought that it was a typo (with half of the rest of his sentence) too. _________________ Hmm... |

Belling the hole means that the make it large at the bottom of the hole than at the top. Think the shape of a bell. This make the post much stronger in the ground and much more likely to withstand wind as it has a wider base the the top of the cement within the hole. Its a quality thing. Use more cement the below ground but the hole remains the same at ground level. _________________ Airborne All the Way! |
