| So I know that micro caches resembling film canisters are not actually film canisters, but diabetic test strip containers? Where do people acquire these? Enquiring minds want to know. E-bay seems to have none. |

I've got a whole bunch; the guy who sits next to me at work is diabetic and I could get one a week if I kept asking.
How have you found their quality in the field? Of the 4-5 I've found, only one had a wet log, which beats the tar out of film canisters. |

Thease are not test strip containers, BUT they are good ask The Collector I gave him a few some months back.
They are what the health clinics use to send samples in the mail. The are the same dimiter as a film canster but twice as long.
If you need some I will be in town the last weekend of this month and i cand have at least 100 or more if you want.
But again the collector ahs some. |

| Trust me, there are many of us Diabetics around that you can obtain some from for free if you just ask. Most of us use the one touch tester that uses these and I go through about one a week. I try to bring a bag or two to events to hand out to those that want them. They are definately better than 35 mm containers for keeping out water. I've used them and have never had one produce a wet log. |

| I like using them INSIDE of caches instead of a Ziploc bag. I tell the better half that it is the silver lining to her diabetes. Though she isn't convinced, she will always give me her empty containers. |

I have a bunch too. My Dad keeps them for me. They are way better than film containers since they are designed to be water/moisture resistant and the white inner lining is a moisture adsorbent. _________________ Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. |

"silver lining"... I like that!!
I meant to bring a bunch of those containers to the event tonight but forgot. If you need some, tell me what event to attend, and I'll do my best to hand 'em to you there! |

Yeah, my thinking too. If I'd known she was there, I would have made extra effort to go! |

I have a bunch, too. My dad is diabetic. If you want some just let my know. You have my number. I could even drop some in a cache for you to pick up. |
