Ahh, cool, thanks for the info. I guess I was just so locked in because we had done them in February too and they were team-dh then as well.

LouRem also have some excellent caches off of the Luce Line in Plymouth. |

Don't feel bad. Gas out here in San Diego is running $2.45 to 2.60 a gal.  |

Looks like I'm going to have to start route-planning--right now, I plug a bunch of caches into my GPS, go hit one, then from there, look for the next closest. Saturday's cache hunting kind of took me in an arc, then when I hit the end of the arc, I went from 1-2 miles between caches to 8 miles. Anyhow, the gas prices have kept me down to the speed limit, for the most part--I get 27 to 28 mpg when I drive like I normally do, and 34 or more when I drive the speed limit.

I really got caught in the middle. I am driving from here to Cincinnati, OH this weekend to join up w/Marsha and her family who will (luckily for me) drive us the rest of the way to her sister's wedding in TN.
I am not looking forward to the gas bill for the 1500 mile round trip car ride

The summer is of course over now. So let's say "Did it affect caching?"
For me it did not. I will do what I will do in my lifetime, and even high "fuel" prices won't stop me... |
