Ahh, cool, thanks for the info. I guess I was just so locked in because we had done them in February too and they were team-dh then as well. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

Don't feel bad. Gas out here in San Diego is running $2.45 to 2.60 a gal. |

Looks like I'm going to have to start route-planning--right now, I plug a bunch of caches into my GPS, go hit one, then from there, look for the next closest. Saturday's cache hunting kind of took me in an arc, then when I hit the end of the arc, I went from 1-2 miles between caches to 8 miles. Anyhow, the gas prices have kept me down to the speed limit, for the most part--I get 27 to 28 mpg when I drive like I normally do, and 34 or more when I drive the speed limit. _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |

I really got caught in the middle. I am driving from here to Cincinnati, OH this weekend to join up w/Marsha and her family who will (luckily for me) drive us the rest of the way to her sister's wedding in TN.
I am not looking forward to the gas bill for the 1500 mile round trip car ride _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

The summer is of course over now. So let's say "Did it affect caching?"
For me it did not. I will do what I will do in my lifetime, and even high "fuel" prices won't stop me... |
