Not seeing anyone else suggesting anything, I thought I would throw out the caches around Palmer Lake Park in Brooklyn Park
We'll make the following 5 the goal
Envy
Palmer Lake View
East Palmer Lake Park
ON PALMER POND
Reptile's Mega Cache
There is a parking lot on the east side of the park near East Palmer Lake Park and the baseball fields.
Coordinates for parking lot are:
45°04.97262', -093°18.58398'
There are 3 or 4 Sports Bars nearby for after.
Jam's Sportsbar & Grill
Blondie's Sports Bar & Grill
Mad Jacks Sports Cafe
Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar
Not sure on WNC etiquette, but I haven't seen anyone else post something.

Thanks for posting, WSD. That looks like an awesome set of caches. You might want to scale it back a bit, though. That is a lot to tackle in one WNC.
I have not found any of them and would love to get them all. Is anybody familiar with the park and have an estimate for how long it would take to find them all? Maybe we could get some of them for pre-WNC and the rest for WNC? I'm game. I could be there by 6:00 for pre-WNC. Anybody else? |

I do personally already have a couple of the ones in the south west side of the park. We don't have to try and get them all (though that would be cool). Any suggestions on paring the official WNC list down would be great.

How about ....Here?

West Palmer Lake Park

Well, I have some caching company who were looking forward to going out. So despite the weather I am still planning on heading out.
We'll make the following 5 the goal
Envy
Palmer Lake View
East Palmer Lake Park
ON PALMER POND
Reptile's Mega Cache
There is a parking lot on the east side of the park near East Palmer Lake Park and the baseball fields.

RustyNails and I are meeting at 6:00 for pre-caching. It looks like it would make the most sense to start on the West side near the parking lot (N 45° 05.060 W 093° 19.490) and cache our way up North and around to the East lot where people are meeting at 7:30 for WNC. There are 14 caches on the way. I'm quite sure that we won't be able to get them all. If you are interested please meet us at 6:00 in the West parking lot.

| Just a suggestion, it would be nice if you edited the original post with the current plan and parking coordinates so folks that are looking at the last minute can tell what is going on. I hope to make it but I have a teleconference at work. |

| Looks like fun, but I'm a traffic wimp. With the snow, just getting home sometime tonight is my goal for today! |

There is a lot to figure out, but you will get it . We're just happy to see someone new hosting.
I was up in the area of these caches this morning for work and they got a lot of snow (4"?). The West lot hadn't been plowed as of 10:00, but I was still able to drive in without getting my FWD car stuck. |

Yes - a huge thanks for posting and giving it a try. You did a great job picking some nice findable caches for a wintry night. Unfortunately, with the road conditions, I don't think I can make it to the park by 7:30. Have fun! I guess I will settle for finding some park and grabs. |
