I'd like to recommend this family friendly cache that we really enjoyed. We found this cache in the fall but it would be a great find year round. It's an unexpected hide that I almost posted for cache of the month then thought that since it was such a great cache maybe I should check to see if it had been nominated before. Indeed it had not only been nominated but was chosen as cache of the month a couple years back! Bring your swag and trackables because this cache has room for trades!

Just found this one today, after realizing it's the second-oldest active cache in Minnesota. I knew it was old, but it wasn't until I followed Sparkyfry's link that a conflagration ignited under my tuckus.
It's the first hide of its type we've seen, and it was a good workout bushwhacking out to it and back. Quite a fun time. It'd almost be a letdown in the Summer, since I wouldn't have to skulk through the brush to avoid being seen and accosted by cross-country skiers. |
