| The Galley in Lake City has a room that can handle a good sized group. I've seen it blocked off for groups in the past anyway, might need to call and ask. |

There was a(n) event down in Worthington in the fall of 2009, I believe it was. It was held at the perkins just off the interstate. I am not opposed to having another event there, but I think we should try for some other locations in the southern part of the state. _________________ King of the Jeff Gordon TB's!

| You can always give a call and check to see if there is a meeting room/space available at the local happy chef's in the towns of Mankato, Fairmont, and Windom. |

| Jerry's in Austin, MN. We are in dinkytown down here but we do have 120 caches in about a 10 mile radius and we almost have ten cachers now, and I'm sure some Rochester cachers would come over too. |

I'm in Albert Lea, and here or Austin would be a great choice. We're small communities, but we've got a lot of great cachers and a lot of great caches in the last year or so. And we have a ton of caches that are more than just pill bottles in trees and bisons on the bottom of road signs.
We had our first Albert Lea meet and greet event a couple weeks ago and had 17 cachers (plus about 10 other spouses and kids that got drug along). We then went out and got a group FTF on a 5-star difficulty cache that we had all been trying to find with no success. From publish date to FTF was exactly one month and one day.
We're also well located, right on I-35 and I-90. Northwood IA, just about 10 miles south, also has a solid caching representation and we got a couple folks from there too at our event. |

| Watch for some events coming up in some southern cities which include pizza events. Austin is on my shortlist for next year but with elections coming up in October it could be someone else setting up events next year. |

Talked to Green Mill down here in Albert Lea. Guy was a bit bummed that we didn't use them for our event ("Maybe next year...my really good friend does a LOT of caching in the Cities"....I think we have an "in"). They have a room that can hold 60. Not sure if our GM serves breakfast...they might..but not sure. I will do a follow up post once I go see the manager on Monday. Another option might be Trumbles...again..a local business, smaller in scale, but after our Meet and Greet, if given time to prepare, more than willing to help host. Albert Lea and Austin would be great places to host one...but then again...we aren't biased or anything |

If they don't serve breakfast... it could show up on a list for Pizza Night as well - their pizza is awesome!! |

| Pattenclan-I do have Albert Lea down for pizza night in Feb. Was that the 3rd Saturday? There's a lot going on at that time with a metro pizza event that month, Breakfast Buddies the 4th Saturday and the 366 Leap Day event. |
