They took away the watchlist counter |
Actually they didn't. But they did move it (and I think it was moved in an earlier release) to the box that shows when you found the cache. If you have not found the cache yet, that box doesn't display, so you lose the watch list counter too. |
I can't see it on the caches I own. _________________ "We never seek things for themselves-what we seek is the very seeking of things"-Pascal |

Oh, really? Doesn't surprise me though. Seems like every week somebody was asking how they can see who is watching their cache, and when told they couldn't asking why not, or requesting that be added. |
If they want to know who is looking at their cache, make it an SOC. I really don't care who is watching the cache, but it is nice to know if your cache has interest or not. |

Oh yeah... new forum software at long last, too.
Quite a coincidence that all these long asked for changes are coming true just as Garmin's new site goes live (ahem... I mean, "beta"). |
I don't think it's such a coincidence. |

I can see it on caches I own, caches I've found, and caches I haven't found. I think they might have fixed it just today because this morning I noticed that the number of watchers was not visible on GC2HPXH but now it is. |

| The only problems I see with the favorites is that they don't include them in the pocket queries and they aren't in the GPX file so there isn't anyway to search for caches with favorites (or have that info offline). |

I am really tired of the reminder that I only need to log X number of caches to get one more 'favorite point'! Thanks, I can't count to 10 myself. _________________ "We never seek things for themselves-what we seek is the very seeking of things"-Pascal |

FireFox to the rescue as posted on the GC boards.
In case anyone needs instructions:
1. Click on red ABP icon
2. Select "Preferences". A dialog box will pop up
3. Click on "Add Filter..." button at lower left corner
4. Type in "geocaching.com#div(class^=FavoritesStatusWidget ReverseSpacing)" in the box under "New Filter" that opens up. Don't click on the "x" to the right of the box unless you want to cancel this operation.
5. Click "OK" |

It should be pointed out that this works only if you have Ad Blocker Plus (i.e. ABP) installed. _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."
