| The manager that night was Phillip. Feel free to contact the general manager, Robin, who is off today but will be in tomorrow, Saturday, and let her know how you feel. I can't understand how a manager no less, wouldn't want our money. It's not like it was near closing and there was enough waitstaff there that they could be standing around chitchatting so it wasn't like they were shorthanded. I also fail to see why they couldn't set the 2 tables of 8 next to each other in one long row. We do often call ahead but in this case it REALLY shouldn't have mattered. They definitely weren't busy and they NEEDED our money as far as I'm concerned. |

That is interesting to me because I took a large group of 16 there maybe five years ago and had an identical hostile experience!
We never went back and have been meeting elsewhere monthly for those five years. I agree it's bizarre. |

| As I headed to Bandimere Park, I kept thinking the rain would go away & it would be great caching weather (it sure looked like a little blue sky to the west). Wrong! It only got worse with lots of rain (I think my jacket finally dried out as I arrived at KB's Bonfire/Smore's event on Friday!) Thanks to TonkaMN & hijfte for doing the hard work to get these caches for WNC. I don't think I would ever get Pond Saver on my own. I did question our sanity a few times as the lightning got closer & the rain came down harder. Food at Ruby Tuesday's was good and the server was excellent. Does anyone recall the name of the resort/hotel in WI she mentioned - the one with a waterfall in the rooms? It was obvious the manager on duty was not customer oriented (reminded me of a Dilbert cartoon & I'm paraphrasing the crazy boss: "Who do you think is causing our problems? The customers, so if we just get rid of them.....") Overall, it was a great evening. Thanks, Red_Devil35 for hosting. |
