If this topic has been addressed someplace else, I apologize. I was wondering if anyone has heard if the government plans to add the timing error back into the satellites to alter GPS readings during the war.
I haven't checked my home coordinates yet but was wondering if anyone noticed caches being off more than normal.

Good Question!!
The last time (1991+/-) we were warring in Iraq the error was lessened so much that our surveyors using GPS techniques had the most incredible accuracy they had ever seen. This time it may be different. JK |

| Check this article from the operation in Afghanistan. They can limit the accuracy over a "well defined" region so that if they did limit it over Iraq it would not affect us here. |
