We have a road trip planned next week which should bring us right through Wheaton. Unfortunately I found out today this county seat doesn't have a cache after GC1BYXP was archived.
Is anyone considering hiding a replacement? If it wasn't 200 miles from home I'd hide the replacement but we don't get out there much. Maybe I can get a local area cacher to watch it for me if necessary, but I'd be just as happy finding someone else's cache if that's an option. |

| Ask whoever it is who hid the closest cache if they can hide one more. I did that a few weeks before going to Roseau and found an awesome person (walleyenerd) to hide a cache up there. Better to reach out to someone than hope they read this post. |

The best approach. While ideally all Minnesota cachers read these forums, nothing could be further from the truth. I'd contact a local cacher directly as mentioned. I did that in Madison, WI for the alphanumeric cacher challenge. 08Rocklady is (was) the only "zero" cacher within 500 miles that I could find and she happily hid one just north of the Madison metro for me about 18 months ago. |
