We have a road trip planned next week which should bring us right through Wheaton. Unfortunately I found out today this county seat doesn't have a cache after GC1BYXP was archived.

Is anyone considering hiding a replacement? If it wasn't 200 miles from home I'd hide the replacement but we don't get out there much. Maybe I can get a local area cacher to watch it for me if necessary, but I'd be just as happy finding someone else's cache if that's an option. Very Happy

Ask whoever it is who hid the closest cache if they can hide one more. I did that a few weeks before going to Roseau and found an awesome person (walleyenerd) to hide a cache up there. Better to reach out to someone than hope they read this post.

The best approach. While ideally all Minnesota cachers read these forums, nothing could be further from the truth. I'd contact a local cacher directly as mentioned. I did that in Madison, WI for the alphanumeric cacher challenge. 08Rocklady is (was) the only "zero" cacher within 500 miles that I could find and she happily hid one just north of the Madison metro for me about 18 months ago.
