What all does it come with or is it just the unit itself?

Did you buy a spare just in case you lost one? Or should I say, lost another one?

Let it be known that I was going to post this yesterday but withheld my comment (though mostly because I'll be caching with DLH for the next couple of days).

These are just the maps that came with the GPS or is it the extra (additional priced) ones?

The "t" in Oregon 400t, Oregon 550t or Colorado 400t refer to Garmin's fancier Topographic Maps.

One can also purchase them on a CD-ROM or memory card to add to GPSr units that do not come with them loaded. For example my brother purchased a Colorado 300 & loaded the topos on it by purchasing the topo loaded memory card. I puchased the topos on CD to load on my Nuvi 550.
