I got an email from a cacher in Nebraska today. They were wondering if I was willing to get some of the Jeep TB's put into some caches in SD. They evedently were looking at some of the logs for the SD caches and saw my username on a lot of them. Evidently no one in SD had bothered to request them.
In my reply I stated that I was from MN and don't get over their often enough (i don't think anyway) to be able to place them. I wouldn't in the next three weeks i told them. I gave them a couple of cachers names that have found some of my caches and maybe they will talk to them.
It seems I am now part of the SD group of cachers also. I live 35 miles from the border. Not sure why they think I get there all that often.
Pretty good that I am getting contacted to place these bugs in SD.
I also said that if they couldn't get either one of those cachers that I referred to her to take them, that I would try to place them. But would not be until the end of the month before I get over there. |

I'm really looking forward to seeing them show up in South Dakota.

Not true, I did request them, but being a newbie and all I can see why they would have second thoughts about sending me some.
I think it's really great that you are going to get some and take the time to place them, thanks! |

Hmmm....South Dakota Cacher's are more than welcome to come to Minnesota to cache too. I hear we are more than hospitible here and would enjoy having them. We might even be able to find a guide or two. And we can always use help moving travelbugs out of the "Twin Cities Triangle" _________________ I am amazed by how many people harp on the need to speak and write English in this country while exhibiting a fundamental lack of skills in the areas of spelling and sentence composition. Would this be irony, hypocrisy, or both? |
