Can you use this on other phones besides the iphone (which you need AT&T for?). I have t-mobile, would the app work on the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G phone? If not, do I just have to wait a year and then it will be available for more phones? I have no idea how these apps work. I have a simple cell phone right now and have no experience with cell internet or apps, but I would like to have the internet on the phone to find nearby caches on a whim, be able to read logs, see cache size, etc.

Should I just get a blackberry and use Geocache Navigator or Cacheberry to start out with?

Nope, this is only available for the iPhone. To my knowledge iPhone apps are not portable to other platforms or phones.

Nope See previous.

I don't think this will be on more phones. I hope that they eventually create other versions such as one for the android platform as I think that will be the next big dominate platform for smart phones.

If you get a blackberry, than those are fine choices for paperless caching. Keep in mind that you don't need any app if you have a data connection as you can just visit the wap site at wap.geocaching.com from your mobile browser.

I hope that helps!

I used to use the wap site (and still go back to it from time to time), but lately I've just been using the full site. I have a site bookmarked that loads quick that allows me to load cache pages rather than loading the gc.com page to load a cache page.
