He is in a heightened state of confusion as he seeks out what can and can not be used as a cache. As long as he can not see the jar through the peanut butter, there is still hope for him. But I do think we’re loosing him. I have not seen a case like this one since divercth. We need to act fast while there is still a chance.

Unfortunately I have seen the jar through the peanut butter (the girls love peanut butter sandwiches)....I have also seen the cache in the water bottle on my desk, in the pills bottles, and yes even the stapler sitting behind my water bottle at my desk. |

A stapler, hmmmmm…..I like the way you think. You could take a bison tube and, no wait, a little blinkie micro and put it…..STOP! You’re sucking me in while I try to pull you back from the brink. Soon you’ll have a collection of containers ready to go. You’ll start hiding them around the yard as your workbench becomes a cache making machine. 5 rolls of camo tape and you can’t stop buying it. You’ll start to take late night walks, not to cache, but to see what containers your neighbors have placed in their recycle bins. And then, the maps, those killer maps. You look for the perfect place to hide your gem. A park, a bus stop, a parking ramp. You hide the cache and drive home on your high, submit it and wait for it to publish. You’ll start to think will it be noon, 3:30….it’s 4:30 already, why hasn’t it published? And then it comes. You rush to your email to see the new cache like a kid running downstairs Christmas morning only to find a note telling you it’s rejected because it’s to close to the final location of a puzzle cache. Turn back now, look the other way, forget what you have learned before you put yourself through torture of Geocaching. _________________ Ahhhhhhhh, the power of cheese! |

First to find is just that, FIRST TO FIND. You can have the symbolic honors all you want as Paklid dismisses the no ALR rule. But we ALL know who REALLY found them first. ME.
By your philosophy, your Found It on Coughin Up A Lung shouldn't count, eh? |

Well, you'll know you're really beyond help when you go through the visitation line at your great aunt Martha's funeral and as you approach you think, Hmmm, I wonder how that would work...( at Bart). _________________ Sig line? I don't need no stinking sig line! |

Hey, I didn't say which season. Besides, I am waiting for the new Target Field to open. Ok, seriously, blame my wife. She made me buy this camper thing and has been forcing me to go camping every other weekend. Really gets in the way of my local caching. And Terry, I thought you were the calm and compassionate type? Clearly you've got to see the plight that sits before me???? |

Did I really use the word PROMISE?? Luckily with the playoffs, championships and world series, I still have through October. So for you to call Paul as getting FTF, well, you've just jumped the gun.
If I remember correctly, I signed those balls using a Sharpie? |

Sucking you in....I thought it was already too late for you. If you can't save me...can anyone?!?!?!? I have accepted the challenge to make a cache container from Spam....I've already got a couple of ideas....maybe I can do a cache for the different varieties of Spam. Oh....my wife is going to love it when I bring those can's of Spam home I'll probably ending up eating them all myself. I've already found what I think will be a couple of good hiding spots. Now...to just find some free time.....anybody want some grilled Spam? |

Eww.. the rents used to force me to eat that as a kid. Maybe that's why to this day, I can't stand the stuff. |

A spam event? We haven’t even talked about events, but if you post it, they will come. Like a heard of buffalo around the watering hole, they will circle you as you grill the spam. They’ll bring coins, bugs and walking sticks as they judge spam cans in hula skirts made from cat tails. They’ll clutch their Cocoa or a Cup of Joe as they talk about their 60’s, their yellows, Colorado’s and Oregon’s. They’ll play strange games with blocks and sticks, and then wander into the woods to disappear for a while. Soon this will seam normal to you as you become one of them. You’ll talk unlocks and GSAK with your buddies at breakfast, then go home and google Fawkes, like it really matters. It is at the events that you will slip the furthest, and for that reason, you must not go. It starts with one, but like a drug you want more. A week, a month, it’s too long to wait. You’ll soon settle for weekly events you can’t even log. Again I say, turn back now. Just say no. _________________ Ahhhhhhhh, the power of cheese! |

Ha...in my case it was Wild Parsnip!!!
Still have the signs of that on my legs...over two years later...all because I was caching!!! |
Wild Parsnip sucks, the discoloration can last for years but the blisters hurt like heck. I had it on a leg and foot. |
