I'm occasionally asked for recommended Duluth area caches from visitors that contact me through my gc.com profile.

Rather than figure out a new list each time, I figured I'd post here so others can add to the list.

Here's what I came up with so far:

The Dark Forest of Knowlton is a night cache:

If you're sightseeing/caching, hitting the Enger area is nice. Here's one (of I believe 3) in the area:

Ely's Peak is a nice cache and hike along the Superior Hiking Trail (although you'll need to figure on spending over an hour on the cache) - it's a nice view though if the weather is clear:

EskoClimber puts out a lot of quality caches, as does IBcrashen (along with many other locals, although those two come to mind).

There's a number of caches right on the Lake Superior shoreline - you can use the gc.com maps to figure out which ones they are.

There's actually 5 caches (6 if you count the disabled multi) in the Enger Tower area. Cool
