This is just a great engineered cache that really had me guessing; a real satisfying find.

I'd like to nominate the Kiddie Litter series of puzzle caches for the July COTM.

The caches are locate in Brooklyn Park near Highway 610 and Noble Ave.
The first in the series is Kiddie Litter #1 GC1QP7X.

There is a total of 10 puzzle caches in this series which consist of 9 preliminary caches and a final cache.

I'm most impressed with the amount of thought, effort, and inginuity that the cache owner, ECA Dad, put into each and every one of these.

To get the coordinates to each cache, you must first solve a trivia question related to children's literature which gets you a password to open a puzzle. After solving that puzzle, you then have the coordinates to find the cache which has another password on the inside cover of the cache log. Back home you go to the cache page to enter your find and also enter the new password you just found to recieve one of nine puzzle pieces needed to solve the final puzzle cache.

Hints to solving the trivia questions and solving the puzzles are intertwined throughout the entire series. You may have to solve trivia #1 to get a hint for puzzle #4 or solve puzzle #6 to get a hint for trivia #2, etc. You get the idea.

Each and every step is very fun to try and solve. ECA Dad also puts a personalized Certificate of Achievment into the final cache for cachers that have been working on the series.

Check out this series everyone!!

Thanks, FreiGuy

This is a cache that's been in place since May of 2006, yet in those
3+ years has only seen just over 30 "found" logs. The cache is along
the Superior Hiking Trail, which by itself should speak some to the
location and terrain.

The cache itself is nothing spectacular - just your average
lock-n-lock hidden just off the trail. What's spectacular is the view
at the cache site. The cache is just a couple of feet (read: not kid
friendly) from a 100'+ cliff edge. The name of the cache is quite
accurate - from the ridge you're afforded quite the view of the
surrounding terrain. Although this isn't a park & grab, it's well
worth the hike (around a mile and a half each way from county 4) to
do.
