I'm curious if anyone has played with this PQ option.
I've always assumed that it only will give caches that had their cache page (as set by the owner) changed in the past 7 days.
However, at the bottom of each cache page are some date/time stats which indicate that the last update date/time incorporates new logs (and even edited logs).
My thought is that when downloading the entire state, it may be beneficial to use the past 7 days option since I'm compiling the data into a pre-existing database of old waypoints anyway.
Thoughts? _________________ Hmm... |

One negative side-effect would be that you would not be able to find out which caches were archived using this technique. As archived caches does not show up in PQs they would remain in your DB like any other cache that did not have any visitors/changes in the last week.
The only method I am aware of to find archived caches is to download ALL MN caches and sort out the ones that existed one batch ago but not the most recent batch.

Good point - I hadn't considered that. _________________ Hmm... |

I remember having a discussion about this some time ago and we decided it was best to keep grabbing all caches and not using that flag. _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |
