I guess I've never loaded the topo maps from the CD-ROM. I fully installed the maps, and it never asks me for a CD. So whenever I use Mapsource, it does everything locally without a disc, and no registry editing!

I have never upgraded my venture CX and it has minimal mapping. Since it doesn't have any Mapsource maps how do I install the free maps that I'm hearing a lot of people are using with great success? I have a micro sd card that I've downloaded maps onto but can't seem to get them to come up when inserted into my gps. Any suggestions? THANKS!

Thanks to Andrewmcc, Speedy and Articabn, I now have maps! I had a glitch and Andy called me this morning and clued me in to where I was going wrong! WOW! The possibilities! I may even make to WNC on time now! (Don't get your hopes up!) Just in time to celebrate find #800! WOOHOO! THANKS!
