I just heard of this from a neighbor. He mentioned a writeup on the Sheriff's website. |
Holy expletive. |

| I wonder if the other three punks went over to "Where No Man Has Gone Before" to clean their shorts? Talk about another cool cache in the park.. |

I would pay money to watch someone actually ask the county sheriff for the log book. |

That's in progress. I am trying to get the entire cache back. But I know that's not what you meant. |

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't get it back. Come to think of it, I don't even understand why they removed it. You can see in the photo that the ammo box explaining that it is a geocache is right there. Not like they found that out after they took it.
You should ask them to haul it back out there.
Good thing Bubba Sawyer's Hideaway wasn't nearby |

Yeah, but they're on to me.. They found the private pages of my website showing the articles I wrote about construction of all of the containers and generally speaking, where they're located.
To clarify for the techies... when I mean private pages, they're just not linked to my home page. They're not really private. A Google savy person can find them in about 5 seconds. |

| Just got a call from Gilbey who actually stopped in Hastings and tried to get access to sign the log. He can provide more details himself but needless to say, the admin offices knew of it but didn't know how to produce the log. Too darn funny. |

I did go into the Dakota County Law Enforcement Center, and tried my best to get a signature in that log! The officer I spoke with asked what he could do for me. I made a couple comments about the "geocache" and "geocaching" in Leb Hills, and how I would like to see the "geocache" if possible. He stopped me and said "Geo what"? I then explained that I had seen their Dakota County Sheriff's "Front Row" flyer about the found Coffin... "Oh"! Followed by small chuckling. He obviously had heard about the coffin. He gave me the phone number for the officer in charge of the item, but he was out of the office at the time, and I was moving on as well.
I did give it a good college try, but it was just not in the cards for me this morning. _________________ "There is a pleasure in the pathless woods..." - Lord Byron |

So is this cache spoiler geo-tagged because I would hate to give too many clues away about the cache. |

| KBayNPapaBear and I essentially concluded that the 2009 BONUS probably wouldn't be a wise idea. The full sized guillotine and basket of heads might cause even more stir. So, in the For Sale Topic where I ask for your excess heads, please disregard that post. |
