I just saw a BIG Article with a few pics on it in the WIllmar, MN "West Central Tribune" Saturday 25 April edition of their paper. It is a writeup of the Safari kickoff. I am not sure how to be able to get that from newsprint to a linkable version, but it is a very good article and even mentions the MNGCA and such. Just wish I was able to somehow link to the article. Maybe someone else knows. I have the "hardcopy" that I grabbed, borrowed, or whatever you want to call it from their newspaper here at work. The article is on the frontpage of the Outdoors section of the paper. Nearly covers the entire front page. They talked to the park managers at Sibley and at Upper Sioux and have some small quotes from them as well. _________________ King of the Jeff Gordon TB's!

15,000 was the number I used off the top of my head. Depending on how you count I'm sure we could get 15,000. Does anyone know how many ACTIVE caches our state currently has? I'm sure that we've had more than 15,000 published here.
Perhaps a question for SJ. _________________ The Lucid Network (tm)-- More Bars in More Places! |

Currently 9951 active caches per GC.com.
In my incomplete GSAK DB I have 1049 archived MN caches so the real total number of caches ever placed in MN would probably be between 12-15k.

If I read the numbers right, I have 14547 MN caches total in my GSAK database. Mine shows 9510 caches active, 272 temp unavailable, although I haven't loaded my PQs for a few days now... _________________ Hmm... |

This is roughly what I had from a statewide grouping about two months old. _________________ The Lucid Network (tm)-- More Bars in More Places! |
