I had herd that Michael Hedin was a geocacher and was wondering if this was so, I have a reason for asking and would go into it more if this is true and I am not offending a family member.

I do have a theory only it is not mine, it is one that is being considerd by those searching for him.......and he was a family member of some one local who geocaches.

If this pertains to the person described in this story it seems highly unlikely geocaching would have anything to do with the case given the details listed in this story.

There was a missing person case in Sweden last year. A 29 year old woman went missing and her car was found empty at a rest stop. The rest stop had a geocache at it so a theory from the geocaching community was that she must've been geocaching and falled into the nearby stream as her boyfriend was a geocacher. After police found out the real story it turned out she was shot due to road rage by a local hunter who had skipped his meds. Very gruesome, but had nothing to do with geocaching.

he wasn't geocaching, thats not what I asked. I wanted to know if he was one or is related to one who may use these forums.
