why does this not come as any surprise to me?
as for selling, i'm still pondering the purchase of a brand new magellan sportrek map, or whatever it's called, for $75. if i do that, do i sell my no frills eTrex banana, with it's custom-designed carrying case? it's in *near mint* condition, so it should be good for years to come. for the right price, i'd be willing to part with it. for a low-ball price, i'd rather give it away. decisions decisions. |

If you can buy a brand new sportrak MAP for $75..I'd jump all over that!!!
on Froogle
on ebay
But where might get a little mislead is the $50 rebate...they don't honor that on if bought on ebay.
Is extremely low for a new unit....I'm sure its a refurbed unit but still seems unlikely.

nope, not a refurbished unit. it's brand new from the factory.
it helps to have a cousin who works as a nanny for a guy who makes a billion dollars a year as a honcho at best buy. the nanny ended up with two of 'em, as thanks for her father helping the rich guy's family do some trivial little task, like change a light bulb or something.
so now nanny's dad has one, and i'm going to buy the other, rather than her sell it on ebay. lucky me! hence the dilemma re: what to do w/ the banana. |

But CAG does need one, and he can't hide cahes with out one. If you didn't hear, his was ripped off. They found the Jeep, trashed. Perhaps he'll get a Yellow one. _________________ Save the earth.
