Fortunately the working US satellite involved mostly voice data and not precious time information that our beloved GPS receivers use! _________________ The Lucid Network (tm)-- More Bars in More Places! |

How do we know it wasn't one of our GPS satellites. As if the government would tell us that. Maybe all the satellites collided all at once? We were having reception problems last night at WNC. I smell a conspiracy. _________________ Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. |

I wish I knew where on the web I saw this, but there is a place that shows the orbits of all publicly known satellites. GPS satellites are not in low orbit as were the two that collided, so unfortunately that DNF excuse won't hold up in court. _________________ Sig line? I don't need no stinking sig line! |

That is a very cool site. It makes me wonder - if GPSr can forecast the best hunting and fishing times, why can't they predict good geocaching times?

yeah, Ghost that one won't fly with my boss. lol well, if you are willing 2 sign my excuse it might b fine, but we'd have 2 come up with a better reason than caching. now, now... i feel that caching is a great reason 2 dump work too, but i don't think my place of employment thinks so. Think broader.
I think I'm caching a cold. (Winter excuse)
I think I'm caching a fever. (Summer excuse)
We can predict the best time to go caching. Look at your watch. See the time. It is the best time. _________________ Airborne All the Way! |
