Hello everyone -

Due to there being no nominees for the January 2009 COTM, no poll was done. As has been the custom, the runner-up from the previous month is then automatically awarded COTM honors. That being the case, I am happy to announce that GC1HAV0: “Big Shot” in Turtle Creek Open Space by TopGear has been awarded January 2009 COTM honors! Congrats TopGear and hope you have a speedy recovery!

I would like to nominate TopGear’s “Big Shot” in Turtle Creek Open Space for Cache of the Month. It may not be the most difficult hide if you approach from the correct side but the hike is very enjoyable; you can almost forget you are in the twin cities. The .5 mile or greater hike on a "goat path" is well worth it.

Yeah, some of us are here. It seems with participation in COTM, it's either feast or famine.

I plan to get that way and do this one also. congrads from me too. I am working on getting some of Feb. caches so I can do an informed vote. I read this thread regulary and like the idea.
