I think that more people have done those than just one person. We try to hit the newer caches in an area to eliminate the possibility that more than one person has done them. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

SO basically we are looking for St. Paul area caches that are near a bar.
You could help us a bunch by placing some new ones near a watering hole with a happy hour that starts at about 10pm.

Any reason to deviate from this plan?

Nope.
A friend and I are going to come up from Faribault/Northfield. We are planning to be at the "Land of Hollow Trees" around 8:15 or so. If there are any drastic changes please let me know before I leave the house at 7pm.
Thanks Shane
P.S. (Did you notice the date that Centris joined MNGCA.org?) |

My friend Dan, sans-GPSr, will be joining us as well. He's only been to three caches before with me and he's interested in getting more into it... so don't freak him out too badly.

If you're goin to swede hollow, watch out for Lenny.
Wish I could go along on that one, spent a bit of time looking for it on my first attempt, but alas, got plans tonight.
Good luck! |

(Temporary?) micro has been hidden between the 2nd cache and the Liffey.
N 44º 56.960' W093º 05.294.
Mears Park, the same park where Towlebooth's "Down in Lowertown" was (and has been temp archived for a few months). Free street parking after 4:30pm on 3 (maybe 4?) sides of the park.
If we have time, you guys can decide if you want to do it or not.

Excellent night. Too bad our bar service at the Liffey was surprisingly bad.
The Faribault/Northfield crowd got a taste of ghetto Saint Paul that I usually don't even see and I live here. When you have to change your route to a cache due to cops blocking off roads for domestic problems (assuming), and then having to DNF due to a hobo sleeping next to the cache... that's um... the armpit of urban caching I guess. And it wasn't even King Boreas hobo camps! It was the one hobo camp he doesn't know about I guess.
Either way, twentyseven is our host down in Faribault for next Tuesday:

Another good night!

Doh, there goes Swede Hollow, didn't get a chance to retry it. Oh well, from the sound of it, I'd rather not have tried anyways.
So you guys actually did get to meet Lenny |
