Any reason why the Forum link on the main page creates a new browser window? I'm only one voice, but I find it annoying especially as I use tabbed browsing. If there's a reason for it I'll just direct-link to the Forums from now on...

Well, you have my vote, I guess. Although 95% of my time spent in mngca.org is on the forums, I always like to check to see if there are changes on the main page first. If it doesn't change I will just go directly to the forums instead. I could go either way, I just thought it was weird. No big deal.

I've always considered it a VERY minor nuisance as well. _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."

Ever think about just right clicking and open in new tab instead of left clicking and having it open in a new window _________________ Airborne All the Way! |

If you use tabbed browsing how does it effect you I middle click almost every link now that I use mozilla.
Anyway, it is a little annoying. |

...but I'm not talking about how to use browsers, I'm talking about the website's default actions.
I should have just PM'ed towlebooth. |

Made the change. Now let's hear from those who liked it the old way!
Seriously, thanks for the feedback - this is our site, not mine. |

Well...............I suppose I can get used to it the new way, but--with the forums in a second window, I could put the first window on gc.com to reference caches, find issues with the site, and other stuff that I'd talk about in the forums while still being logged in to the forums. _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |
