Hi all,
I've been seeing some flaky behavior in some aspects of the forum over the last week and just got a couple reports from a couple others.
The stuff I've seen is different and may point to some security issues so I won't get into them here, but the other two mentioned getting:

They got this when sending a PM. They have reported that when you get this error theit PM did indeed go through and that a resend was not needed.
In response to these items I'm going to upgrade the forum software around 10AM on Thursday. This is an incremental change and I've done at least 5 of them in the last year and a half. I don't expect any issues, but I'd recommend that you don't try to post for a half hour or so. I'll update this thread when I'm done.
Hopefully this will help resolve these issues. Either way it is our policy to stay close to current on this software.

Every now and then I get this.....
Please ensure both the install/ and contrib/ directories are deleted

That's probably because you logged in right after the upgrade. It's just a reminder to do some cleanup after upgrading to enhance security.
