We are in Namibia until January. Do you think a tb would get this far from MN by then? We are in Windhoek, so any cache sorta nearby would be fine. If I get it I'll direct it back to you or to wherever you want.

Travel bugs travel at widely different rates. Sometimes they can't make it across town in a year, othertimes they can cross the Atlantic and reach their goal in days.

Personally I don't think it's realistic to figure that a TB will ever reach it's goal if it requires airline travel, although naturally some do. That's just my POV.

If it takes longer, we could get someone here to send it on.

I should have posted this in January when we got here.

Oh well.

Why don't you make a TB and see if it can get back to MN before you do?

That's a great suggestion! You then have a fair amount of control over it's final destination once you're back - it can take as long as it needs to make the trip..

I don't have a TB and right now we don't have a credit or debit card as ours got eaten by an ATM. (We cash checks at the Embassy.) But yes, I've thought of that. Thanks
