| OK, got a question for those of you that camp at state parks frequently. I reserved a couple of nights this weekend at a couple of parks and the only sites left were backpack sites. I noticed that at Gooseberry, there were these 2 wheeled carts for those who camp at the backpack sites there to use to haul their gear in. Do all the state parks have them? |

No. Only parks that have "cart-in" sites like the ones in Gooseberry or Tettegouche, etc. Of course, cart-in is different from hiking. My understanding is that a park the George Crosby Manitou has hike-in only campsites with no benefit of carts, whereas Tettegouche's cart-in sites are about being in family friendly areas where there is no direct car access. _________________ Thomas |

Thanks, I better give them a call to check and if not, come up with a plan. I made reservations at Cascade and Scenic. |
