Today my husband took off his hikers, rolled up his pants to his knees and walked to-calf deep into a stream to get a TBUG which was in a cache in a rock on the other side of the stream. The log you were suppose to walk on to the cache was under water and he didn't want to walk on it and risk falling totally in. Once at the cache he threw it to me and I got the TBUG and tossed the cache back to him. The water was soooo cold! _________________ LIFE IS GOOD;CABIN LIFE IS GREAT |

| Drove to Iowa to find a couple. Dug through deep snow to find a couple. Spent an extra day in California to find a few. Don't do it anymore though. Concentrating on caches these days. |

Went to Elda's Paradise....
No Tbug, even after the person that dropped it off had left a note to leave it there until the end of the month (I'm visiting in Seattle, and had posted on GC.com offering my TBug courier service, the only biter was this one).
Oh well..... |

Well, I never thought that I would make a special attempt to get a bug. But while visiting California this week came across a cache called Black Beards Grotto with two bugs in it. Cache is located on the coast line and is only accessable for a couple of hours each day (if you don't want to get to wet). Or accessable 24 hours a day if you have a boat. It had two bugs in it so I just knew I had to place the bug I brought from Minneapolis in this cache.
Located in the back of a cave that fills with sea water at high tide. The cache is a PVC tube chained to a brick so that it won't be taken by Old Man Sea.
And yes I've got pictures. _________________ Airborne All the Way! |
