| Another suggestion might be to make it an rss feed of some sort and not "publish" it via email. |
That is a good idea and would definitely be my preferred way of receiving it. _________________ Hmm... |

I like the idea of the newsletter. Way to step up to the plate, MnBrad.
I wonder if we could post a link on the main MnGCA page to your newsletter so that anybody that didn't subscribe via email could download the newsletter directly. That would eliminate the problem of using the membership list as direct email device. |

Only if you post a link to the free Geocache Rating System. Fair's fair.

Instructions to get listed on the links page are listed at the top of the page:
http://www.mngca.org/links.php
If you want it posted to the front page in the form of an article then I would suggest writing an article and submitting it to the board. They'll need to probably figure out some standards of what's allowable in general and what's not so it is fair for all, but submitting an article to them will force the issue. _________________ Hmm... |

I was just being smart. Not sure what I'll do with my site. It seems to be going well everywhere but in Minnesota. Maybe it's my (lack of) reputation. |

Maybe a little bit of promotion is just what you need then (and this is getting a little off-topic here now). _________________ Hmm... |

The MnGCA is more than happy to help promote the Geocache Rating System. Just make a request to the board. E-mail works the best.
I am sure if you asked MNBrad would be happy to write it up in his newsletter.
I am sure if you asked Sir-Z man would be happy to mention it on the podcast. He may be able to have others mention it on the pod casts too. |

Thanks, all good ideas. I appreciate the tips. I thought of the newsletter but hadn't thought of the podcast or listing on MNGCA. |

| Write up a little article on it. Things like why you came up with it, how you came up with rating system, how much time it took to get completed and how people can use it. I'll get it in next months newsletter. |

Darn.. I was looking for a reason to be lazy. Now that you've offered I'll have to come up with something. When's your publishing deadline? |

| I Would like the newsletters to come out the beginning of the month so if you get me something by the 26 or 27th of April that should work. |

I get the one from the WGA and don't care for the spam and if I read their site more frequently I would really despise it.
That's me. |
If you want to be removed from the mailing list, all you need to do is request that. This is frankly the first and only negative comment that I have heard about the WGA newsletter. The newsletter is intended to keep cachers in the state of Wisconsin up to date on what is happening related to caching in Wisconsin, and we have received many positive comments about sending it out.
