During a search of the vehicle deputies found in the front passenger compartment, one silver, four cell Mag Light; one Garmen Nuvi model 350, one Black and Decker VPX cordless drill with drill bits, one GPS dash holder, one GPS window mount, one spring loaded center punch and one side cutter. Officers also located in the rear passenger compartment, one Garmen Nuvi model 660, one Garmen dash holder, one Garmen power cord, one cell phone charger, and a Minnesota driver’s license application in the name of another person, among other items.
The value of the items found in the vehicle is in excess of $1000. The Garmen 660 was reported stolen from a vehicle and the serial number of the stolen items and the one recovered in the vehicle Gonzales was driving matched. The vehicle that Gonzales was driving was stolen from Ramsey County. |

This reminds me to write down the serial number of things like my GPS and phone. It's hard to obtain some of that type of information AFTER it's stolen... _________________ Hmm... |

If you have a Garmin it will create an account for you and will track your serial numbers and update status for your units and maps.
