I know there are a lot of folks out there smarter than I. So, I have a question that I hope someone out there can help with. I have a Garmin quest with the wiring harness for my harley. There is a head phone jack output in the mount for the navigation audio. Now, what I'd like to do is wire it into my radio, but be able to be listening to the radio and have it cut out when it announces a turn.

Any ideas? I was thinking of using some sort of "vox" or vox like switch, but couldn't find anything that I thought would work.

Thanks!

I use something like this but it does not provide the functionality that you are looking for. This would only link the GPS to the speakers.

You may be able to do something with piping that input into the intercom system if you are into wearing a helmet.

Yea, I've seen these. I don't have an intercom system, nor do I want one. But the switches that technology uses is similar to what I'm looking to do. I just haven't figured out how to make the right connections to wire it in. Thanks though merkman.
