Hi folks,
DonB! here. I live in Mora, MN, and would like to gather as many cachers from the surrounding areas as possible for an event in town here. If you find this posting, and are interested in attending, please let me know.
The event would not be anything fancy, just some intros of each other, TB swap, maybe a few local temporary caches just for the event, and who knows what else.
Looking forward to meeting the names I've only read in logbooks so far.

DonB,
Your best bet would be to post the event on geocaching.com as more cachers (local and statewide) are likely to see it there than here.
As Oneied Cooky once said, "Post it and they will come!" _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

I could be interested, although my attendance varies wildly with the specifics of the event (when in the year, which day, hours, etc). _________________ Hmm... |

Like they said just post it and they will come. I would do permanent caches not temps. they are not as much of a hassle to log. You have a ton of room up there anyway. _________________ Dinnae fash yersel (don't worry yourself) |

I will go ahead and post an event date on geocaching.com, and I'll find the interest level there as folks sign up to attend.
If any of you remember something in particular that you liked about other events you've been to, please let me know. If I am capable of doing it, I will.
Maybe some excellent coffee, some breakfast snacks, and the list of caches in the area. I'm hungry already...

DonB!
Once your event is posted on GC.com, you can add a link to it in this thread. _________________ "We never seek things for themselves-what we seek is the very seeking of things"-Pascal |

DonB,
I love a good event cache. I will attend if possible.
You can organize it as an event cache on GC.com or do something more low-key via the forums.
Whatever you decide to do, I am sure it will be worth it.

| Mora isn't too far away from me. I would hope to be able to attend. |

ATTENTION:
Anyone completing, or thinking about completing, Tesser's Alphabet City Challenge, you should know that Quamba is right next door to Mora. In order to complete the challenge you HAVE TO HAVE a "Q" city and Quamba is your only option. |

...and both Quamba finds are pretty easy.

| Anyone from the St. Cloud vicinity or southwest planning to attend? I''d be interested in sharing a ride. |

Sorry, I won't be attending. I will be teaching a geocaching class at Foley Intermediate School in Foley from 9-12. I picked this date for this class months ago.
If any of you heading from St. Cloud on your way to the event want to stop by at Foley Intermediate School please feel free to do so. We'll be inside and outside during that time and behind the school facilities looking for the temporary caches I have hidden. The newbies would like any words of wisdom from the expert cachers. _________________ "Those librarians, that's one terrorist group you don't want to mess with." Michael Moore |

| Thanks to DonB! and anyone else who helped to organize a great event! I just wish the weather had cooperated a little better as my kids lost interest after a few walks against the wind with snow/ice pelting our faces. We still had a fun time. Thanks again! |
