Is there anyone in our divers group that can look up liscense plates and find an owner name? Is willing to for me? Or knows of a web site? I tried to find a site, but no luck.

I'm greatfull for any help. Thanks,

I don't believe that license plate information is open to the public. If you have a specific issue with a vehicle, go to your local DMV and discuss it with them. If their is a threat go to the police.

I did call the cops and the driver left in cuffs, to spend the night in jail. He'll be getting reprocussion from this for a long time in many different ways. I just want his name.

If you know what county jail he was brought to, you can walk right in and ask to see the booking log. Any one can do this, it must be presented upon request. Just look for the arresting location and the date/time he was arrested. Wright County jails folks in Buffalo, Sherburne County in Elk River. Not sure where you were when you saw him arrested.
Our legislators took away our right to search driver records in May of 2002.

It's a want of his name, not a need.
I was pulling out of a parking space at the grocery store, small town, spot close to the doors, 5:30pm lots of moms with kids walking thru', and here he is in broad day light makin' tan lines with himself. Good gravy my kids could have been with me. My oldest gets her permit in 2 weeks, it could have been her looking to see if she could back out safly. He had a toddler in the back seat. I'll assume it was a little girl as she was wearing a pink coat.
The cop said he was a local and would be spending some time with the county as he has a driving record a mile long.
The thing is though, this is a small town and I want to make sure he is not involved in anything my girls are involved in. I have no intention of telling anyone else. This guy has made enough trouble for himself. Yes there probably are worse folks living in my comunity, but I know of this one.

That worked. Got his name, looked him up in the phone book, he lives 8 house from me. Evil or Very Mad

You gotta keep up on this stuff if you have kids. There is a rental house next to us that a creep moved into a few years ago. He was friendly and started coming over to chat whenever he saw we had a bonfire going in the back yard. Some of the other neighbors found out he was a creep from an internet website and let us know. So I asked him point blank if he was a creep. He denied it and hightailed it back to his house. A week later he moved out. Good riddance.

I called the jail to see if he would have access to my info as the complainant, but the admin' person had left for the day and the jail deputy didn't know. So he suggested that they list me as a victim and so I will be called when he is released and be told the conditions of his release.

Yet another reason to keep my girls busy with the horses for the summer. Rolling Eyes
