I'm not interested at this point but thought I'd share what I ran across. |

that is the dumbest thing I've ever seen...how can you "trust" others to have a cash prize on an "on your honor" system of cache logging??
maybe I didn't read it enough but that is the way I see it.... |

| Sounds like someone's trying to make a buck... Can't say as I'm interested either, but a different idea I guess. |

I wonder if Spyderuser posts all his logs on caches as vague as possible with links to his paintball business. I mean you can't even think about being able to verify those at a glance...

Wow, each team pays $150 and if there are 6 teams, the wining team gets $200. A difference if $50 split between 5 to 10 members. The organizer is making a killing and the teams get very little return.
Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but,
I promise to giggle at any one that signs up. |

| I wish I knew that they'd have more then 6 teams...I could team up with everybody in MNGCA to be "in" on it...hit every damn cache in the state in a week and have you all to verify it...then throw a heck of a "get sauced event". |

I stopped reading the page after, "...sign up now and recieve $25 off your registration fee."
$25 OFF! What a rip-OFF. |

Looks like there's enough people that thought it was hinky that they pulled it---

The sites working for me.
But the minute I saw there was a cost, I left the site. Let's be serious. I don't even belong to gc.com. We the players are what make this game. We the players are who fund, build, and put out the caches. I'm not into lining someone else pockets for my work.
This site just takes it to even more extremes. _________________ Airborne All the Way! |

What does that have to do w/the Cache League site? Belonging to GC.com affords you extras like pocket queries, GPX downloads for cache coords, coming soon -- multiple watch lists, immediate notification of new caches in the area, etc. You don't HAVE to pay but you can if you want the extras offered.
Paying for this would afford you the possibility of getting a cash prize. You MUST pay in order to win.
Two seperate things.

Satan just called and left me a voicemail to turn the heat back on.
