I heard from Lagrac, he is living in a hotel in Winona, near where he works. The national guard isn't letting anyone back into Rushford just yet. _________________ "We never seek things for themselves-what we seek is the very seeking of things"-Pascal |

Yes I am doing just fine. Thanks for asking ......Were you refferring to those that were involved with the torrential downpour and ending result of flooding? Was sad to hear about that and then see in the paper the pictures of devastation in that area.
Talked to a trucker from down in that area. He along with his son spent nearly all day Saturday and Sunday moving cattle from flooeded areas. He said that he saw water literally running out of rocks . He said in all his life he has never seen that before, and this guy was in his late 60's.
We only got about 2.5" of rain around my neck of the woods. That is even enough to get at one time. _________________ King of the Jeff Gordon TB's!

| I'm OK, tho I live in Stockton. Live on the high end of one of the streets. Water rushed by not far away, but not even a drop in the basement. PTL! Haven't had a chance to check my Plowline Trail Series of caches, but I'm sure they are OK, as they are mostly on the bluff. Bridge is out on the Stockton Valley side of the bluff tho, so access must be made from Goodview. Still need to find out best place to access the Trail from that side. Will post coords when I find that out. |

| I was in the area this week.. I knew the flooding was bad. But I had NO IDEA it was that bad. The town of Rushford looks like it was nearly wiped out. Every structure is either abandoned or under reconstruction. The mobile home park looks like something out of a movie. You can see where many bluffs washed down.. bridges out.. roads gone. WOW. |
