This is similar to how I do it, however...
Instead of specifying a date you can tell GSAK to filter by the last x days. So for me, if the cache hasn't been updated in the last 7 days or so then it's considered not active.
I also pull one query a week of disabled caches. You can't pull archived caches. _________________ Hmm... |

This has been a great thread! When I read Paklid's post the lightbulb went off. I now have a database in GSAK of all of MN.
Here's my question - now what? Or, to be more specific, how do you filter what you load onto your GPS?
For example - I will be in Edina/Bloomington this weekend for a show. I want to have my GPS loaded with caches in that area. My normal pocket query doesn't reach that far (I have SO many to find yet ). What I would normally do is run a new pocket query using a cache in that area as the center point. Is there a way I can use this super MN database to get the caches I need loaded?
Thanks for the help!! |

Thanks for cleaning up all those old frayed threads. SB
Here is my question.
What is the latest on dates for PQ's? |

Groundspeak reported 6,379 caches in MN this morning so this might not be 100%. I might e-mail rickrich and see what the difference is between his scripts and their counts. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

gc.com added a feature in their last release that will tell you at the top of a PQ's page how many caches it will return when you submit the PQ (or a change to the PQ).
Nice. _________________ Hmm... |
