|
|
Hey everyone,
I was browsing around GPS and stumbled on this new line of Magellans, Triton, coming out in October. They look like impressive units and the lower priced models seem to be filling the eXplorist line role (picture of the UI shows a Geocaching icon on the front) and supposedly have a greatly over-hauled user interface. You can take a look at the TigerGPS page to get more info about them:

Has anyone heard of these? I am tempted to replace my eXplorist 210 with one of the lower end models.
Cheers,

Throw a 2 way radio/weather radio on that triton 2000 and I might consider it.
However, the more toys you throw on a device like that, the quicker its going to suck up batteries/charge. And if it breaks, you're in much bigger trouble. |
