I have noticed that many bugs listed in my caches are not there. I have been asked by TBUG owners to check the caches for them. One thing up here though is that we have so many out-of-towers "find" our caches- that if they "find " a cache before they go into the BWCA- then they are in the woods for a couple of weeks, then they have to drive home to another part of the country- then get organized after a trip- it can be a month or more before the bugs are logged. On the other hand, I own one bug that has been in the possession of a newbie college student for over a year. I asked him about it after he had it about 6 months and he said he had it but was too busy to cache. I asked him again 4 months later and he wrote back and said he already told me he had it and that he was too busy to cache- and he will not be dropping it soon nor will he mail it back to me - Rolling Eyes

Just be patient I guess. We have a geocoin that moved from MN along down to IA (on its way to Texas) where it was picked up by someone with very few cache finds. He has had it since April. I have contacted him a couple times and very politely asked him to please place it in a cache soon. I also mentioned it is customary to only keep a coin for 2 weeks without contacting its owner. I never did hear back from him but this weekend he finally placed it in a cache! YAAAAH! I sent a thank you note even though he never responded to my emails. I guess you can only be patient and hope someone will do the right thing eventually.
