Can that be done? I haven't tried it, because I don't know that the potential side effects might be if it doesn't work, but can I simply copy the files to the removable USB "drive"?

EasyGPS hasn't yet upgraded to USB output, my Mapsource seems to only allow one GSX to load at a time, and GSAK... well, see my post in the GSAK thread about THAT "gem". There must be a better option.

No, I hadn't, but I sure am now. I don't know yet if that is the answer to my problems, but I had no idea there was a POI loader available!

That's what I sort of gathered...

I think that's about the closest you'll get to getting them on your GPS the way you want.

Actually EasyGPS does handle the USB output. Click Edit/Preferences/My GPS Receivers, and add your GPS model. Click Settings, and you should see USB as the Connect Via: option.
