I switched over to the Vista OS earlier this week (things were going too smoothly here at work). It's a very cool operating system, but it caused a couple things to break. One of those was the ability to click on the "Download GEocache Browser" - the Open directly into GoogleEarth - this now throws an error.
There is a workaround, just Save the file to your PC, then drag it into GE. But if anyone finds a fix to this, please post! |

I haven't used Google Earth for awhile, but what is the error you are getting? Maybe someone else could help if the error is more than "Could not open file. _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |

I checked earth.google.com and it doesn't mention Vista so I'm not sure if they support it yet. I guess you could try contacting them.

I will - I tried running the program in XP SP2 Compatibility mode, which fixed a hotsync problem with my Palm, but it didn't help with this one.
At least GE still opens the Geocache sites - it's one of my favorite caching apps! |
