Topic of conversation at the breakfast was the Spring Event.
Wisconsin is holding theirs on May 14-16.....
BTW - I hear theirs is highly recommended (hey - we're TRYING!!!)
Also we are taking suggestions for locations (needs to be within the metro access area, other events will be held outstate)..... input your ideas.
Also we are STILL looking for a few sponsors for caches and for our games.

I didn't vote because at this time, all dates are equal. How would Theo. Wirth park work for the location?

What amount or what type of items do people typically donate? Since this is in the twin cities and not around my area my company may be limited but I still think I can help some? Just email me at "thcri@qwest.net" or drop a line here.

"Take mom fishing weekend" is May 8-9. "Don't take mom fishing day" is May 9. So those are probably not great choices.
I like Theo Wirth park as the location since its more-or-less centrally located and has some good terrain.

Yup -- didn't even think about that -- teach me to look at a REAL calendar instead of this one by my desk.
I am re-doing the poll.

edit.... or not re-doing the poll..... can't be edited without weird choices popping up (whoops!)
I am just thinking that if May 8-9 is out, May 1-2 may be too early, so that only leaves May 22-23.
In the votes that were counted in the poll the clear winner was a Saturday event...... so I guess by default the date of the picnic becomes May 22nd
Any objections to this date????
If not, we are going to go with it. |

No problems with the date, but I do have guards that weekend--I'm also going to miss the winter bash this coming weekend because of guards as well. But finding a date that'll work for everybody is like herding cats, so go with 22 May.

Exactly. The date is so far in advance that I can't determine what I will be doing. As far as I am concerned it's ALL that I am doing that day and everything else will revolve around it

May really needs another weekend added to it. I say we shorten February by one week and add it to May.
