Orange&Blue would like to nominate GCQ9QJ Load Limit by knowschad as Cache of the Month. This cache has it all: mental & physical challenge, great craftsmanship and a wonderful sense of humor. Because of the enjoyment we received, we became hooked on geocaching. The only disappointment came in realizing down the road that not all caches are placed with the same level of care and creativity. Shortly before experiencing Load Limit, we visited the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C. and were impressed with the displays of gadgets and techniques used by spies to hide things in plain sight. It was amazing to see similar techniques used in geocaching! We corresponded with knowschad after the find to let him know how impressed we were and he was kind enough to explain some of his methods. This cache made quite an impression on us and we hope others have a chance to enjoy it as well.

Former Hawkeye would like to submit GCVZRC Long Lake Park by Onionpod for the October cache of the month. This 2 part multi can be walked, but the real challenge is finding the first part without being spotted by muggles. The second part threw our machines out of whack for a little bit. We just started to search and came up with an idea that worked. There is additional challenge finding the twisting road into the campground to this pretty lake near Detroit Lakes.

Marsha and Silent Bob would like to nominate Is it Ruins or Runes by Paklid . Are you a puzzler? Are you a multi fanatic? Perhaps youíre a Paklid cache fan? Perhaps youíre just another normal cacher looking for an excellently done cache that incorporates a puzzle, multiple stages, and some awesome cammo. If so, then Paklidís Is it Ruins or Runes? located in Patrick Eagan Park. While I donít want to give too much away, this cache is quite possibly one of the best recent caches in the South Metro. The first stage is devious and the history lesson is a great one. After a short walk through what seems like Jurassic Park, youíre led to a well camouflaged stash that is just the icing on the cake. Another excellent cache from Paklid and one that is a must do in the South Metro!

Voting closed! Load Limit is the winner as I had to vote to be able to see the results but have not done any of these caches and do not feel it is right to cast a vote. I had voted for ruins or runes.
